Ricoh Arena Experience
04 Apr 2011

CCFC have offered CTK FC a unique experience at the Ricoh Arena on the 30th April, see e-mail below from CCFC to Brad (club Secretary).

Hello Brad,

It was great to meet with you this afternoon and thank you for sending out the information to all the managers as quickly as you have done. I have attached the flyer for the Christ the King FC Group Outing for the Reading match on April 30th. Here is a summary of what we discussed:

· The game we are targeting is the Reading game on Saturday 30th April.

· Tickets will cost only £18 for adults and £10 for Concessions (under 18’s, over 60’s, in the armed forces, Student (with a student card) and disabled (can prove they are on the higher disability living allowance)). The club will be seated together within Block 28 of the Ricoh Arena. Normal match day prices in this block are £27 adults and £16 concessions. As you can see, the group tickets provide excellent value for money. Depending upon the size of the group, the ticket prices can come down even further. Any person with a season ticket will be able to transfer their ticket for the match at no charge and join the rest of the Christ the King group. On the order form, write down your supporter number and your seat location and we shall issue you a paper ticket for the match.

· As a part of these fantastic group experiences, Christ the King FC members will be able to parade around the pitch before the game and watch the players from both sides warm up. During the parade, the club will have a group photograph taken by the official club photographer pitch side as a great memento of the day out. Once the photo has been taken, the Christ the King members will then be guided to their seats to enjoy the fantastic match.

· Depending upon the size of the Christ the King FC group and on availability, the club members can participate in our centre banner celebrations before the match. For the Reading match, we will be officially unveiling our home shirt for next season. If Christ the King FC wants to participate in this fantastic experience, the kids who take part would be amongst the first people to wear the new shirt and will be able to purchase the shirt at a cost of just £15 (a full month before the new shirt goes on official sale to the public).

· I have reserved spots for your kids to take penalty kicks after the match.

· Another great opportunity for the club is the chance to play at the Ricoh Arena at the end of the season. Depending on availability, we would offer your club a 2 hour slot between the 22nd & 24th May in which the kids and parents can have the chance to play at the home of the Sky Blues. A truly unique experience which would be great for all football fans at Christ the King FC!

· To organise a stadium tour for the teams within the club, please tell the managers to contact me directly and I will happily set up a date and time which would best suit each team.

· In regards to car parking, we can offer the club free parking if you bring along a coach. If your members want to come up in their cars, we would be able to offer a reduced car parking rate of £5 if there were more than 10 cars coming up from the club.

· To qualify for these ticket prices, the post-match penalty kicks along with reserving a play on the pitch slot for the club, the way it works is we look for the group to bring over 250 people to the match. Judging from the reaction of the managers at last Monday’s committee meeting, there was definitely a lot of interest for this great offer.

Brad, I will call you on Monday April 11th to see how things are going. I have made Wednesday April 20th the cut-off date for the Reading game. Since you will be away during that week, I will call Paddy or Darren on Thursday April 21st to take payment. This will give you time to circulate interest and collect payment. Once the payment has been collected from each of the teams, I will take on all other responsibilities for coordinating the Christ the King Football Club group outing for the Reading match such as distributing the tickets.

Brad, I look forward to speaking with you on Monday April 11th at 2pm.

Kind Regards

If there is enough interest I will organise a coach to take us their and back. It would also be good if those that go where their red T shirts.
Will keep everyone up to date.
